Consideration is given to the high affinity and specificity of affibody molecules for selected molecular targets, as well as their potential for the in vivo visualization of various malignant tumors. Significant attention is paid to preclinical and clinical studies of affibody conjugates with various radioisotopes for targeted radionuclide tumor imaging, which is particularly relevant in addressing challenges encountered during the diagnosis and treatment of these patients. Clinical trials demonstrate that radiopharmaceuticals are well-tolerated and effective for the assessment of tumor process prevalence and the determination of HER2/neu status in breast cancer patients, supporting further research.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В представленном обзоре рассмотрены возможности использования молекул аффибоди в различных областях биотехнологии и клинической медицины. В клинических испытаниях показана хорошая переносимость радиофармацевтических препаратов и эффективность их использования для оценки распространенности опухолевого процесса и определения статуса HER2/neu у больных раком молочной железы, что обуславливает перспективность проведения дальнейших исследований.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Malignant tumors</kwd><kwd>theranostics</kwd><kwd>targeted radionuclide diagnostics</kwd><kwd>alternative scaffold proteins</kwd><kwd>affibodies</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>злокачественные образования</kwd><kwd>тераностика</kwd><kwd>таргетная радионуклидная диагностика</kwd><kwd>альтернативные каркасные белки</kwd><kwd>аффибоди</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Министерство науки и высшего образования РФ</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russian Federation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>075-15-2024-536</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Bray F, Laversanne M, Sung H, et al.
